Alpacas
Alpacas & Llamas belong to a group of herbivorous South American animals called Camelids. Alpacas can produce young at any time of the year, and newborns are susceptible to extremes of weather, which may result in orphaning or the need for supplementary feeding. Alpaca milk is high in protein, to cater for their rapid growth rate and production of thick fleece.
